Digital Imaging had been operating for three years when the Board family purchased the business in 2003.  The equipment consisted of a vinyl cutter, an entry level laser printer, three computers and a business card cutter.  The Company offered only graphic design and cut lettering services on a small scale.  All digital printing was outsourced to Cape Town.  We initially operated the same way, but soon realized there was a market for digital prints in George. 

After thorough research, we bought a Mimaki JV3 1.6 large format digital printer.  Having received the necessary training from the distributors in Cape Town, we became the first to offer this service on the Garden Route.  We even supplied digital prints to the other sign makers in the area. 

Digital Imaging has become known for its high quality tall signs using large format digital printing.  The business boomed to such an extent that we became a bureau of information as well as specialists in the field.

To cope with demand we bought a Roland Versacam large format digital printer which allows us to print and cut simultaneously.  This allows us to print high quality stickers, cut, ready to peel and stick as required.

Digital Imaging has since branched out into signs of all sizes, light boxes, billboards, estate agent boards, rollups, custom printed wallpaper, vehicle decals, posters, neon signs, cut lettering and etching.

We are located in George on the Garden Route and operate between Plettenberg Bay, Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn.
